Iona (2015) - Boudica Silver
A striking and enthralling drama set against the stunning backdrop of the Inner Hebrides island, Iona is director Scott Graham’s follow-up to his award-winning debut feature Shell.
Iona (Ruth Negga, who has found international fame thanks to her recurring role in Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and her teenage son Bull (Ben Gallagher) seek refuge from a violent crime back on the island where she was raised. Her return exposes Bull to the more gentle way of life she rejected when she left the island as a teenager and also resonates amongst those friends she had once left behind. An impressive support cast also includes Douglas Henshall, Tom Brooke, Michelle Duncan and Sorcha Groundsell.
The film premiered in competition at the 2015 Edinburgh Film Festival (where it was also the Closing Film of the festival) and has been invited to several prestigious film festivals including San Sebastian and Gothenburg.
Iona was released in UK cinemas in spring 2016.

Pale Star (2015) - Boudica Black
A Nordic Noir, Pale Star was shot entirely in Iceland and is the first feature from acclaimed theatre director Graeme Maley.
Pale Star was launched at the 2016 Edinburgh International Film Festival in competition for the Michael Powell Award. Reviews have been very positive. The film will be released in the UK in 2017.
The film was produced by Eddie Dick from Makar Productions (Let Us Prey, True North, Outcast) and Birgitta Bjornsdottir and Hlín Jóhannesdóttir from Vintage Films (Land Ho!, Bokeh), with Rebecca and Ian Executive Producers for Boudica Black.
Swung (2015) - Boudica Films
Swung is a seductive and poignant drama about the secret underside of a very modern relationship. Swung is the debut feature film from director Colin Kennedy whose BAFTA Scotland award-winning short I Love Luci has won 13 international awards to date.
The film is based on a script adapted by award-winning author Ewan Morrison from his internationally acclaimed novel of the same name.
The film stars Elena Anaya (The Skin I Live In, Talk To Her), Owen McDonnell (Saving The Titanic, Made in Belfast) and Elizabeth McGovern (Once Upon A Time In America, Downtown Abbey).
The film premiered in competition at the 2015 Edinburgh International Film Festival and was nominated for 2 BAFTA Scotland awards for Elena Anaya and Elizabeth McGovern. It was released in cinemas in late 2015 and early 2016 and is available on iTunes and Amazon. The film has sold to several international territories.

The Falling (2014) - Boudica Red
Carol Morley writes and directs this masterful and eagerly anticipated follow up to her acclaimed Dreams of a Life. A mesmerising psychological drama, The Falling explores a mysterious fainting and twitching outbreak in 1969 at an all-girls school. At the centre of the epidemic are the intense and clever Lydia (MAISIE WILLIAMS), and the admired but rebellious Abbie (FLORENCE PUGH).
Within the volatile, eerie atmosphere of the school and her troubled home life, Lydia is driven to discover the truth behind the mystery whilst holding onto her fragile friendship with Abbie. As the fainting escalates Lydia confronts the authority figures around her: her self-absorbed mother (MAXINE PEAKE), the indomitable deputy-head Miss Mantel (GRETA SCACCHI), and the enigmatic headmistress Miss Alvaro (MONICA DOLAN). Eventually, Lydia’s actions force old secrets into the light as she finds truths that she never expected.
The film premiered in competition at the 2014 London International Film Festival and was released theatrically in the UK to 4 and 5 star reviews in 2015, with the BBC's Mark Kermode rating it as one of the top 10 films of 2015.
The film has sold in multiple territories and continues to screen at international film festivals.
